A SNOWPLOWFIT FOR DUTY
When Dave’s neighbor needed a snowplow fit for duty, the crew at Sparks Motors delivered.
Choosing the 1997 Stewart And Stevenson M1088 MTV (Medium Tactical Vehicle) for the base was an easy choice with its Caterpillar C7, 7.2-liter, 6-cylinder inline Diesel motor this wicked 6 wheeled machine boasts a payload capacity of 5 U.S TONS.
The chassis was outfitted with a Western Plows MVP 3 V-Plow via a custom adaptor built in house and a Western Plows “Striker” Hopper out back that that features dual motors for the conveyor and spreaders to insure a nice even spread of sand or salt over the roadway.
A thick coat of construction yellow PPG paint was laid over the drab military colors on the cab and Sparks Motors gray on the bed while the trim, fenders and undercarriage were treated to a layer of undercoating. A custom Sparks Motors logo plate on the front of the cab gives it that finished touch.
Once you wrap a set of chains around the massive military tires, this monster snow plow will go just about anywhere and leave a clear patch in its wake. It’s safe to say this build was a success!!

You guys are out of control cool I come from Vermont it’s a small town with lots of trucks as I watch you guys build trucks I can only dream to one day build one but for now I struggle to start my own business in Property Management take care of my loving wife and two amazing children maybe one day dreams will come true

I really enjoyed watching ya’ll build this one. I work for the D.O.T doing snow removal and other stuff. Would love to have this one to have for my own. I love what y’all do. Wish I could afford to get a truck of my own. I love Dodge diesels. Could use a 2500 Dodge 4×4 extended cab. Can’t afford to buy on. I have a step daughter that has terminal cancer and one that’s in college. My wife has several health issues as well so don’t have any money left over. Run into a lot of money issues so have to keep my wife something nice to drive and I’m driving a sub. Keep up the good work. Love what y’all do and love doing mechanic work myself.
